A Novel by Jhumpa Lahiri. It is the story of an immigrant family and the trials and tribulations they had to go through in the period of adaptation and how their children see the world where there were not much roots to grow but in the end, the boy finds some truths or meanings of life and understands his situation and his parents struggles to make a home in a foreign land.

I tried to read the tale of two cities and read first two or three chapters but found it difficult to concentrate as the school holiday began and also because of the thrill to see India after three years. All my routines changed. I cannot find loneliness as before. May be I shall read it after the holiday and my journey to India. The book has something precious inside. I have to find out what it is...
